Job Description

Federal Working Group Inc. is currently seeking Technical Strategist. To ensure success as a Technical Strategist, you should have extensive experience with cloud technology implementations, security standards, and enterprise-level solutions expertise. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have solid problem-solving skills, extensive knowledge of cloud computing technologies, an extensive understanding of system development/integrations, and a strong understanding with road mapping skillset.

Experience:

  • Expert knowledge in strategic planning and vision set in the federal information environment
  • Expert knowledge of legacy technologies, cloud technologies, security implications to advise on enterprise total solution
  • Proven expertise with oral/written communication skill interaction with C-level management
  • Experienced with solving complex problems
  • Extensive understanding of business process improvements
  • Extensive understanding of business process analysis and road mapping
  • Expert knowledge of organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting an assessment of IT and mission strategic objectives, making recommendations, and building actionable roadmaps
  • Interacting directly with senior and executive IT and business leaders with an emphasis on data management
  • Providing IT assessments to synthesize data, identify trends, develop predictive findings, and evaluate impacts on goals to develop strategic insights
  • Conducting assessments of IT policy, business processes, technical and security requirements, and cost-benefit analysis across the enterprise
  • Conducting senior leadership briefs on IT initiatives from a mission business perspective
  • Reviewing architecture level implementation plans and solutions to determine alignment with organizational strategy and policy

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
  • 15+ years of industry experience in computerized information system IT Security and/or IT Project Management
